Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has given a response to his impeachment by members of parliament on Tuesday. Taking to his X page after the vote by the MPs, Gachagua shared a bibke verse to encourage his supporters to have hope as everything was going to be okay.
The verse from the book of Jeremiah said that the lord will add more numbers to he who believes in him and they shall never decrease. It also promised honor and the believers will not be disdained. Gachagua finished by saying it will be well.

“From them will come songs of thanksgiving
and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honor, and they will not be disdained.”

Gachagua has been known to be a man of God and he believes that he will come through for him at this time of need. He has asked his workers to have hope as everything will be fine. Gachagua is now waiting for the final ruling by the senate to know if he will continue to serve the people of Kenya as their deputy president or not.
