The second in command honorable Rigathi Gachagua has caused fireworks during a graduation ceremony for JKUAT University held this Friday at their grounds in Juja.
He has publicly gone after the Kenyan courts and issued a stun warning to them just days after they gagged Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria from criticizing the media.
Gachagua who seemed agitated with what the courts have done has now laid several demands that he wants the courts to fulfill whenever they will call them upon.
Based on him, he wants the courts to make the same decision of gagging the media when leaders take their pleas to them so that there is fairness for both sides.
“There is nobody who is immune to accountability, everybody must be accountable for your actions. The same way the courts have been persuaded to gag Moses Kuria from holding the press to account, I want the same courts to when leaders go to court and ask them to restrain the media from criticizing leaders the same courts must give same orders so that we are fair,” said DP Rigathi Gachagua.
