Lawyer Wahome Thuku has come out to dismiss circulating reports that deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is being misled by his lawyers and is doing what they are telling him to do. Wahome said that Gachagua is not a child as many presume and he is in full control of his legal processes.
He said that Gachagua is the one instructing his legal team on what to do and his words are final. Wahome said that the judicial process is exhausting and Gachagua has no hurry and knows how to control everything.
“There is this thinking that Gachagua is a child who is being misled by his lawyers. I can tell you Riggy G is in full control of the legal process. He is instructing his team with precision and finality and they are acting according to instruction. The judicial process must be conclusively exhausted, there is no hurry.” Wahome said.
Since the case of impeaching Gachagua started about three weeks ago many people said that he was being misled by his lawyers to file cases which they knew very well he would lose. Many predicted that he would lose in the first week and be sent home but it is three weeks now and he is still fighting. It seems they underestimated his power and took him for a weakling.
