Former Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration, David Osiany, was overjoyed as his wife, Syombua Osiany, graduated from Moi University.Sharing moments from the special occasion, he captioned the photos with heartfelt pride:

“Sio kulima mashamba tu… Hata vitabu tunalima kweli kweli. Thank you very decorated! Congratulations my dearest wife, Syombua Osiany!”

Syombua’s academic milestone comes just months after the couple welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Telo David Osiany Jr.

The arrival of Telo brought immense joy to the family, with Osiany expressing his gratitude through poetic words and revealing how fervently they had prayed for their son.

Telo joins their firstborn daughter, Tabby Teko, completing their growing family.

David Osiany’s career spans public service, media, and academia.

Before his appointment as CAS in the Ministry of Industrialisation, Trade, and Enterprise Development, he had a successful stint as a radio presenter and held leadership roles in various organizations.Osiany is also a sought-after political commentator on Kenyan TV and radio platforms.

While at the University of Nairobi, Osiany made history by being elected president of the Student Organization of Nairobi University (SONU) in his second year.

In 2009, he was recognized as a UNEP-Bayer Young Environmental Envoy and, in 2015, received the prestigious Chevening fellowship.

He later earned a Master of Science in Public Policy from the University of Bristol, UK.

Osiany also served as an advisor to Hon. Raila Odinga during his tenure as Prime Minister, focusing on youth integration into government initiatives.
