Former KTN news anchor Sharon Momanyi has joined NTV.
The award-winning journalist infact announced the big news in a post that she made on her Instagram stories some few hours ago, where she even confirmed that she had officially made her debut.
Sharon Momanyi actually made her debut at the Nation Media Group-owned station on Sunday, the 9th of March, where she did a report about how the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was heckled at Gusii Stadium by the locals.
The former ODM party leader had gone to witness the launch of the Shabana FC kits, but he was met with ‘Raila must go!” and also “Ruto must go” chants. Clearly some of the locals did not want him there because they even walked out of the stadium the moment he walked in.
Sharon Momanyi was also over the moon to join NTV as this marked a new chapter in her career in the media.
“Day one of reporting! Delighted to join the great team at @ntvkenya as we fix the nation!” She said.
Sharon Momanyi is actually now a Senior Reporter at NTV, and she has even already updated this on her Instagram bio.
The award-winning journalist has actually made her return on TV after being away for about two years.
This is because the last time that Sharon Momanyi was working as a journalist was in early 2023, when she was a news anchor at KTN.
It can be remembered however that she exited the Standard Group-owned station on April 2, 2023, and this was after she had worked there for exactly 10 years.
Sharon Momanyi joined KTN on April 2, 2013 as an intern. However her career progressed well and she later became a Features Editor and finally a news anchor.
