Former Presidential Candidate Mohammed Abduba Dida has now allegedly revealed the powerful politician whom he claimed is behind the clashes witnessed between the Kipsigis and Luo Communities at Sondu.
In a statement on his X page through his social media platform, Dida, who was among the presidential candidates in the 2013 general elections, said that Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot is the main man behind the awful chaos.
According to Dida, Mr Cheruiyot is inciting violence against the Luo by ordering the Kipsigis to fight for the ownership of Sondu town which is known to be inherited by the Luo.
Dida further stated that despite deaths being reported in the clashes, Mr Cheruiyot cannot be arrested because of his political power in the current government.
“Senator Kericho County incited violence against the Luo community over the ownership of Sondu town. The aftermath is a bloodbath and slaughter of innocent Kenyans along that border. Luckily for him, he is UDA. So he won’t get arrested. Law works however you want it to.” Posed Dida.
