Former president Uhuru Kenyatta accused several leaders of betrayal during an event at Saint Mary’s Msongari church in Nairobi. Uhuru Kenyatta attended the ordinance ceremony of Bishop Kamomoe and Nganga.

Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that several leaders in the country betrayed him in the recent past. He blamed the leaders for betraying him despite promising to support him. He assured the leaders that they will face the consequences of the betrayal.

Several leaders were present during the church event in Nairobi. Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja and other leaders in Kiambu county attended the event. The local residents turned up in large numbers for the event.

Uhuru Kenyatta served as the fourth president of the Republic of Kenya. He served between 2013 and 2022. He handed over power to president William Ruto after the general elections in 2022. He has maintained a low profile since his retirement from office.

The former president campaigned for Raila Odinga during the general elections in 2022. He differed with several leaders from the region who supported president William Ruto.

Uhuru Kenyatta praised the church for supporting the local community for many years. He promised to continue working together with the church to improve the lives of local residents.
