From Mombasa County, on Kenya’s coast, comes Ali Hassan Joho, a well-known politician from Kenya. As per the 2010 Kenyan Constitution, which permits an individual to hold office for a maximum of two terms only, he is the immediate former governor of Mombasa. In addition, he is one of the two deputy heads of Kenya’s Orange Democratic Movement party.

Ali Hassan Joho, the former governor of Mombasa County, is in serious danger when the following was made known to Kenyans. The Star Kenya reports that a number of billion-shilling projects in the county have either halted or been postponed, largely during his period in government. As per the study, as of June 30, 2021, six projects worth Kshs 2.8 billion had either stalled or were postponed, including the construction of a sports complex in the nation.
