Former Rangwe constituency member of parliament Hon Martin Ogindo, has finally landed a job in President Wiliam Ruto’s Government ending his years of being in the cold.

According to the Gazette Notice dated 29 April And Shared to the public on Tuesday 2, May 2023 by State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed, the former Orange Democratic Movement party member of parliament has been appointed the Chairperson of Kenya Fish Marketing Authority.

He has been appointed to hold the position for a period of three years effective immediately by President Wiliam Ruto.

The Luo Nyanza politician served as the member of parliament for Rangwe constituency between 2008 and 2013 under the Orange Democratic Movement party.

He lost the seat to the current member of parliament for Homabay town Constituency Peter Opondo Kaluma after the Constituency was divided. In 2013 he vied on the Federal party of Kenya but he lost.

He made attempts to take back the seat in 2017, 2022 but lost again. He has been in the group of Luo Nyanza politicians opposed to the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party leader Raila Odinga.
