Former State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita, who served under President Uhuru Kenyatta, has taken up a new international role. On Wednesday, November 11, he announced his appointment as the Managing Director of Africa Advisory at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI).
Nzioka, who also led Kenya’s Presidential Delivery Unit, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with the institute. He described the role as a chance to collaborate with a team dedicated to supporting political leaders across different regions in effectively implementing their mandates.
In his announcement, Nzioka highlighted the institute’s focus on leveraging technology and improving government efficiency to create meaningful impact. “I will be privileged to work with like-minded thinkers and trusted advisors committed to helping leaders execute their mandates effectively while designing governments for better impact and results,” he said.
This new position marks a significant step for Nzioka as he transitions to the global stage, where he will contribute to enhancing leadership and governance across Africa.
