Kimani Ngunjiri, the previous Bahati MP, has petitioned the previous president, Uhuru Kenyatta, to pardon him for his political remarks during the 2022 General Decisions.
He is certain that the previous president, Uhuru Kenyatta, warned them against choosing President Ruto arbitrarily as Mt. Kenya residents, but they did not listen. Kimani Ngunjiri has also stated that the agent president, Rigathi Gachagua, has the right to work with Uhuru Kenyatta.
He is adamant that Mt. Kenya area pioneers unite and speak with one voice or regret the future. Ngunjiri is certain that President Ruto never required Gachagua as his agent, which could be the source of their disagreements. He is confident that he and other pioneers cried tears in front of the president, thus Gachagua became his running mate.
