He is clear that if indeed Raila has the people behind him, he should explain to Kenyans of how he lost elections five times. The deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has warned that the ongoing Azimio demonstrations must come to an end by all means possible. He is confident that the only idea to take Kenya forward is to silence the lord of poverty by stopping his impunity.
Gachagua is clear that the demonstrations by Azimio do not distract the president from conducting his job peacefully. He is of the view that Raila’s moves to get into government through shortcut is an exercise in futility and zero sum game.
