A moment of fireworks has been witnessed in the Bomas of Kenya after Hon Eugene Wamalwa and Hassan Omar clashed over the ongoing bi-partisan talks.

According to the video shared, the bi-partisan teams were discussing on the conduct of the 2022 general elections where the ‘Cherera four’ commissioner appeared before the committee as Chebukati was missing the event. Wamalwa started by thanking the ‘cherera four’ for appearing before the committee as he went ahead to castigate Chebukati for snubbing the event as he termed him as arrogant. This was not well received by Hassan Omar who told off Wamalwa for calling Chebukati for mentioning characters in the meeting who can not defend themselves.

“We are very grateful for your time to appear before us unlike your arrogant chair (Chebukati),” Wamalwa said as he was cut short by Hon Omar who castigated Wamalwa for mentioning Chebukati’s name since he was not in the meeting to defend himself. “It is not fair for you to mention a character who is not here to defend himself just because he did something that he did that you did not want,” Omar said.

This comes as the bi-partisan teams were discussing on the aftermath of the 2022 general elections as an agenda of the bi-partisan talks.
