The Speaker of the national assembly Moses Wetangula has given hope to the Azimio coalition in their efforts to fight against the finance Bill 2023. According to the speaker, the issue of Finance Bill is not yet concluded hence Azimio outfit have a chance to floor it in the 3rd reading come next week.

Wetangula has asked Azimio MPs to marshall enough numbers so that they are not defeated at the 3rd reading. The MPs from the Azimio side, majority of them boycotted Parliament during the second reading something that badly exposed Raila a leader who has no numbers in Parliament.
Speaker Wetangula wants Azimio to organize themselves better and at least confirm that they are fighting against the finance Bill 2023. The latest voting on the bill has put Azimio in a very awkward place for they have been exposed for all Kenyans to see.
It’s a fact that president Ruto has solid numbers in Parliament and has also vouched members from Azimio. This issue clearly angers Azimio and that’s why they staged a walkout today in Parliament to protest against the budget and be seen like they are defending the ordinary citizens.
