Professional boxer Fatuma Zarika will get back into the ring today after a year’s break from the sport.
Zarika who sensationally claimed to have thrown her last fight against Mexican Yamileth Mercado that took place in Chihuahua, Mexico in November 16, 2019 returns to the ring a calmer pugilist.

The immediate former World Boxing Council’s Super Bantamweight champion will face off against Zimbabwe’s Patience Mastara in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania – her first fight since the loss to Mercado.
Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) secretary Franklin ‘Kuja’ Imbenzi confirmed that Zarika is headed to Dar where she’s scheduled to fight in the Jackson Group Sports-promoted fight-card.
