A top female government official is being accused of conning members of the public colossal sums of money under the pretext that she will sell them vehicles whose owners have failed to pay custom duty.
The official who has been luring the unsuspecting victims through an accomplice and disappears immediately a victim wires money to her spanner boy.

One of the victims, a teacher by profession, is stressed after losing over Sh300, 000 to the big woman, who appeared friendly and honest only to disappear later with all the money.
The teacher blames herself for being too trusting, saying she didnât read any mischief because they had talked to the boss in advance before sanctioning the deal.
âShe acted so motherly and was so convincing. She told me she will give me a nice car and I trusted her,â she told PowerPlay.
