The family of Gerald Mwangi, or as everyone fondly called him, “Makanga Bae” has broken silence concerning his burial.
This guy was a real gem, a conductor for Super Metro, the matatu service that everyone in Nairobi knows and loves. Sadly, Gerald’s journey came to a heartbreaking end on October 10, 2024.
He was in a terrible road accident that led to multiple organ failure, and he even lost a leg. It’s just so sad, and his passing has left a big hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those passengers who adored him for his charm and top-notch professionalism.
Gerald’s family has set the date for his burial on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in Muthure, Wangige. Super Metro made this announcement, letting everyone know about the daily gatherings for those who want to pay their respects.
These meet-ups are happening at Makongeni Business Park and Ebony House in the CBD from 5 PM to 7 PM. It’s a chance for everyone to come together and remember the good times.
Super Metro has also shared how folks can help out Gerald’s family during this tough time.
Gerald wasn’t just any conductor; he was a real people person, especially popular with the ladies, thanks to his friendly vibe and good looks.
After his accident, there was a huge wave of support from the community. People came together, donating blood and sending all sorts of positive vibes while he was in the hospital.
Sadly, despite all the love and effort, Gerald passed away just a few days after the accident.
May his soul rest in peace.
