In North Korea, citizens are not allowed to leave the country. Any north Korea citizens is prohibited from leaving the country and anyone who crosses the border without official documents will be shot by guards.
In North Korea, if a person commits a crime his parents, children and grandchildren are taken to prison. So 25 percent of the citizens of North Korea are in prison, while majority of them are paying for the crime of their family members.
In different spots around North Korea, there are statues of their past leaders, Kim King II and Kim II Sung. Citizens are expected to bow for there statues each time they pass them. Also, any citizen of North Korea that does not have a picture of their leader in their home could be arrested and prosecuted if caught.
If you visit North Korea as a foreigner, your phones and cameras will be seized at the airport; you won’t be allowed to use public transportation or interact with any citizens of North Korea. Rather, you will have a government assigned guide who will closely monitor all your activities until you leave the country.
