While addressing the media, Energy CS Chirchir blamed frequent power outages to a lack of update on the network system overtime due to financial constraints experienced by our country.
To curb this problem, Chirchir said that Kenya has taken a loan from South Korea and floated a tender for construction of a new power Line for Western Kenya. This he says will stop power blackouts for the next twenty months.
However, others thought that this will solve it.
