Celebrated Kenyan news anchor Grace Kuria has landed a job at an international media house, months after she exited the Cape Media-owned station TV47.
The talented news anchor is infact currently working at the TRT World, which is a news channel that is based in Turkey.

Grace Kuria actually disclosed the big news via her latest post on her ‘X’ account, where she shared two photos of herself at the media house.
In one of them she had posed at the news desk of TRT World probably reading some news bulletins, while in the other photo she had posed with her husband Joseph Kanja.

Grace Kuria was also over the moon to have landed the new job, and she even praised God for it.
“It’s been a minute! So far so good at @trtworld. God takes all the glory, honour and praise” she wrote.
Scrolling through her X account, it is clear that Grace Kuria has even already updated her bio with regards to her new job.
According to the sassy queen, she is now a senior producer and senior news anchor at the station.
Grace Kuria’s disclosure also elicited some congratulatory messages from netizens, who also joined her in celebrating the milestone.

Grace Kuria exits TV47
According to reports, Grace Kuria actually exited TV47 in January this year, after working there for about 6 months.
While at the station, it can be remembered that aside from anchoring news bulletins, she also used to host the segment dubbed ‘Her Say’ on Saturdays, and also ‘To The Point’ on Sundays.
Grace Kuria is said to have announced her exit via the company’s WhatsApp group, where part of her message said:
“Hello team, Happy New Year! It’s been an awesome six months plus at TV47, working alongside a fantastic, gifted team with so much potentialā¦”
Grace Kuria added:
“I’m grateful to each one of you, and particularly those who we worked with on Saturday and Sunday, on HerSay and ToThePoint. Like they say, it’s not a goodbye but a see you later. Blessings to each one of you”.
Grace Kuria actually joined TV47 in July 2023, and she was among those talented journalist who were unveiled at the station following its revamp.
Before she joined the Cape Media-owned station, she had also previously worked at K24 TV, CGTN, KTN News and BBC
