Former leader of now outlawed group, Mungiki, Maina Njenga has ordered his members who stole ex President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sheep during the Northland’s Farm raid to return them.
Maina Njenga now wants his followers who might had participated in the raid and stealing of Uhuru’s sheeps to return them to Northlands Farm.
The Northlands Farm raid saw goons slaughter sheeps with others taking away the loot. The Kenya Police has never made a significant arrest which has resulted into prosecution. The move was widely seen as politically motivated as it was coming at a time when the Kenya Kwanza Alliance government was accusing the ex President of funding the Azimio demos, allegation that Uhuru Kenyatta had denied.
This directive also comes at a time when the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua also seeing handshake with the former President amidsts rebellion in the region that supported the current regime with massive votes.
