Ruth Kamande, former Langata Women’s Prison beauty queen was sentenced to death in 2018 after being found guilty of killing her boyfriend ,Farid. It was gathered that Ruth stabbed her boyfriend 25 times.
However, Ruth appeared the case claiming that the evidence was tempered with members of the public who were allowed into the deceased compound. She also added that there were contradictions on testimonies given by the 15 witnesses who were presented in court.
Recent update has been shared concerning the case of Ruth Wanjiku Kamande. The court of appeal allowed her to seek trial at the supreme court on whether she was a victim of domestic violence. She found out that she has a case to answer.
