ODM communication director Philip Etale on 30th August evening resurfaced online with a bold message alleging what MC at Ruto’s led event in Kakamega did

Speaking via his official twitter handle, Etale without tabling any evidence claimed that MC acknowledged Busia county women representative Omanyo Catherine in absentia.

According to Etale, Omanyo was in Nairobi when the incident happened and therefore raising mixed reactions from leaders who attended the event.

“Hehe, I am told the MC at the Kakamega rally attended by @WilliamsRuto acknowledged the presence of the Busia County Woman Rep @omanyocatherine in absentia. The gracious lady was in the comfort of her couch in Nairobi at the time sipping a glass of mala. Bwana this country…”, he wrote.

His statement comes off after President William Ruto and top Kenya Kwanza’s leaders concluded the five days tour in Western Kenya.

Among top projects that the government commissioned includes roads, industries and TVETs.

On the other side, the national dialogue committee co-chairs former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka and Kikuyu Constituency member of parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwah revealed they agreed on several raised issues.

Speaking after today’s meeting, kalonzo and Kimani Ichungwah unveiled agendas reached on by the committee after signing off the dialogue books at Bomas of Kenya.

It should be noted that the committee will hold talks in a period of 60 days upon which a final report will be presented.
