Kenyan women asked Edith to refer her to some of the mubabas who contacted her
Edith Kimani isn’t the happiest customer at the moment. Why? The Deutsche Welle (DW) journalist’s request for a ‘mubaba’ willing to be interviewed didn’t meet the requirement she wanted.
The former KTN reporter had earlier asked Kenyans to help her get a mubaba willing to be interviewed on video. She had written,
“I need your help!!!! looking for that mubaba. Someone who you would describe as a ‘sponsor’ or ‘mubaba’ – or who is aligned to the lifestyle and is happy to finance it; even if they are not currently doing it. They don’t necessarily have to be married.” she wrote.
“Catch is; they have to be willing to talk to me on camera for broadcast,” she added.

But there are men out there who live by the credo that every shot you don’t take, you miss, with Edith updating her fans and followers of just this type of man.
Edith told Kenyans that she still hadn’t gotten the mubaba she was looking for, even though she had received many DMs from men offering to be her sponsor.
Funny thing is that she also got messages from women seeking the contacts of the men that had forwarded their names to her sponsor.
“And quick update on the mubabas, the search for mubabas, I’m still searching. Nyinyi watu mko kwa DMs half of you are asking me to send you the applicants, and half of you are offering your services as a mubaba to me, please someni fine print!” she stated.

Clearly, the thirst for rich older men to finance a lady’s lifestyle is at an all-time high. Signs of a terrible economy or just laziness?
