Azimio la Umoja’s life appears to be collapsing. Raila Odinga, the leader of a coalition party in Kenya, has recently received new information on what the government of Deputy Prime Minister William Ruto has planned for the much-anticipated 20th of March.
According to recent reports, protesting Raila Odinga supporters would be barred from entering Nairobi’s Central Business District on Monday. A report from KTN News claims that the Kenya Kwanza administration is making preparations to prevent Azimio supporters from entering CBD on Monday, forcing them to hold their demonstrations elsewhere.
These developments are bad news for Raila Odinga, leader of the Azimio la Umoja, who plans to use the power of the people to retrieve the electoral victory that was fraudulently taken from him in August 2022.
Even though other leaders have been pressuring him to cancel the Monday Mass action, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga said during the people’s Baraza in Kiambu that he will not be deterred by threats or intimidation from the state.
