President William Ruto could be losing some of the Kenya Kwanza affiliated members after former Kieni MP and Jubilee Party Secretary General Kanini Kega came out to release a statement

This was after a delegation from the Jubilee Party, led by Kanini Kega, held a crucial meeting with a bipartisan team at Bomas today on Wednesday.

Kanini Kega, alongside the party’s distinguished members, including Party Leader Hon Sabina Chege and Vice Chairman Hon Keynan, said they had presented the Jubilee Memoranda to the Dialogue Committee at the Bomas of Kenya.

According to the EALA MP, the memoranda outlines the party’s stance on several key political issues and serves as a testament to their dedication to constructive political discourse in the country.

He made it clear that their Jubilee party is not in Kenya Kwanza camp or any other coalition, adding that they are an independent party. The Jubilee Party, one of Kenya’s prominent political entities, has consistently emphasized the importance of adherence to the rule of law and respect for political parties within a coalition, both before and after elections.

Their commitment to these principles is reiterated in their Memoranda presented at the Bomas meeting.

“We appreciate the political discourse that we have as a country and we feel obliged to actively participate. We are committed to the rule of of law and respect for political Parties in a coalition before and after the elections. We want to be recognized as an independent political party that is neither aligned to any coalition at the moment. Jubilee ni Sisi na tuko Imara!” readKanini Kega’s statement.

In closing, Kanini Kega’s tweet insisted on the party’s unwavering determination: “Jubilee ni Sisi na tuko Imara!” This declaration reinforces the party’s resilience and fortitude as they navigate Kenya’s political landscape, affirming their status as a formidable force in the nation’s political arena.

Jubilee had been considered as one of the affiliate parties of Kenya Kwanza camp especially after writing to the registrar of political parties demanding their withdrawal from Azimio camp.
