In a shocking video circulating online, two women wearing Yellow, skin-revealing dresses are seen doing theatricals, in what looks like a funeral in someplace in Africa.

At some point, one of them is seen on top of a Toyota vehicle, doing “some not good dancing” as a crowd gathers to witness, including kids. Everything about the video was crazy, until I did a background research on the clip. And it all made sense.

It was a funeral of a Barcadi musician identified as Vusi Ma R5. He was gunned down by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Monday Jan 30, outside a tavern in Soshanguve, Gauteng in South Africa. His brother DJ cooper claims he had first learnt of his death via his social media. He was woken up by a post informing him, that someone who looked like his brother had been shot multiple times.

They needed him to confirm if it was indeed the musician. He rushed to the scene; where he found his brother lying cold on a pavement in a pool of his blood.

So far no arrests has been made on the murder and the police are urging the public to help them with the investigation. Speculations has it that the hit was gang-affliated, a claim the family has viciously denied. Citing that their son had never been involved in any gang-related activity.

The women wearing Yellow dresses and dancing explicitly in the viral video, were paying their final tribute to the late musician. But the video, for reasons I cannot share here; has sparked outrage among netizens. Demanding for the women to be arrested for displaying inappropriate acts in front of the public including minors. The musician must have been living a wild life provided what was seen in the viral video. Where are our morals as Africans? The deceased leaves behind a wife, two daughters and a son.
