Locals at Nyapiedho trading centre in Bondo, Siaya County, were treated to free-for-all drama after a night guard was caught sleeping with a colleague’s wife.
The guard, who was only identified as Ja’ Massai, is said to have been busted red handed, in bed with the woman at around 3am.

A neighbour who narrated the incident to Crazy Monday said that the woman’s husband, Maurice Omondi, who also works as a night guard at the trading centre, returned home earlier than expected and caught the two in the act.
“Ja’ Massai was off-duty that night and he decided to sneak to his colleague’s house to have a good time with his wife,” she told Crazy Monday.
She added that the two have been in a relationship for more than one year and that he would come to Omondi’s house at night whenever he was off-duty.
Omondi, who found the duo in his matrimonial bed, is said to have pounced on his fellow guard with kicks and blows. “The culprit drew a sword in defence but was overwhelmed by Omondi who picked a panga and cut him before he escaped and disappeared into a nearby bush,” the neighbour added.
According to the area Administration Police commandant Inspector Boaz Odero, the suspect (Ja’Massai) was later arrested while on his way from Bondo sub-county hospital where he had gone to seek treatment.
He has been locked up at Bondo police station, where he is helping authorities with investigations
