The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has arrested two traffic police officers; No. 77429 Corporal Rachael Aiyabei and No. 92235 Police Constable John Oluoch at a notorious bribe collection spot in Litein town, along Sotik-Kericho road.
The incident has caught the attention of several Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to congratulate the detectives from the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission for taking this action.
According to the reports given by most Kenyans, corrupt traffic cops are the main reason why more Kenyans have been dying in road accidents in different parts of the country.
Kenyans have also called upon the government under President William Ruto to add police officer salaries in a move to lower cases of corruption among officers in the country.
This is happening at the same time when President William Ruto has stated that the government is going to deal with corrupt individuals adding that he, President William Ruto is going to be on the forefront in fighting against rogue individuals.
