Recent times have witnessed an escalation of theft, shootings, and violent incidents across Kenya, with the most recent and notably distressing event unfolding in the Githurai neighborhood of Nairobi County. This situation arises against a backdrop of increased criminal activity.

Our sources have unveiled a high-stakes confrontation between law enforcement authorities and a wanted gangster that transpired within the confines of his girlfriend’s residence in Githurai, Nairobi. Tragedy struck during the ensuing intense shootout as stray bullets found their mark, injuring five members of the public residing in their iron sheet houses in close proximity to the crime scene.

The deceased gangster, identified as Samuel Karui, also known as “Sammy Steppa,” was a fugitive wanted for his involvement in a series of violent robberies and murder cases within Kasarani and its surroundings. The gangster met his death end at the hands of the Kenyan police. Notably, Karui was not acting alone; he had an accomplice who managed to evade capture during the exchange of gunfire.
