A female traffic police officer in Machakos was treated to a taste of her own medicine.
The officer, known for flagging down vehicles for whatever reasons is said to have stopped a personal car. She commandeered the driver to park by the road side for flouting traffic rules. But after a few minutes of “negotiations” the officer got into the vehicle and ordered the motorist to drive to the police station.
But it was during the ride that the driver changed his mind and started speeding towards Makutano area.
Scared and not sure of the intentions of the driver, the officer started screaming for help. Engaging the driver was not a safer option as it could have caused a road accident.
The long and scary drive however came to a halt when the boda boda riders and police officers chased the car. The riders caught up with the car forcing the driver to slow down, offering an opportunity for the officer to jump out of the vehicle.
Police officers arrested four occupants of the car as investigations into the incident commence.
