The divorce settlement between American rapper and Producer Andre Romelle Young aka Dre Dre and his estranged wife, Nicole Young has finally been revealed.
The ex-couple who were bitterly fighting over the music mogul’s money has finally struck a deal despite having a pre-nup.
According to TMZ, the ‘I need a doctor’ rapper would pay Ksh 11,342,123,310 ($100M) to Nicole, giving her $50M (Ksh5,671,061,655) and the balance in a year.
Nicole also got jewelry, cash, and bank accounts that she had maintained during the marriage.
And what did Dre get in return? Drumroll, please!!!!
The legendary rapper will get to keep his multiple properties including the Ksh 10 billion ($100 million) Brentwood estate, a Malibu home, 2 homes in Calabasas, and 4 properties in the L.A. area.
Not only that, he got to keep his hard-earned master recordings, trademarks and interests in various partnerships and trusts. That’s not all, he kept his Apple stocks, which includes the proceeds from the sale of Beats by Dre.
This settlement will conclude a battle that started in 2020 shortly after Nicole filed for divorce from the musician citing irreconcilable differences.
The ex-couple had been blessed with two kids; Triuce and Truly, since they got hitched in 1996.
