The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Renson Ingonga has this afternoon flagged a viral post suggesting it had pressed charged against JB Muturi’s Son as fake and misleading.
Through X handle, the ODPP shared a screenshot of the purported media presser where Embakasi North MP James Gakuya, Mark Mwenje and Leslie Muturi are persons of interest.
According to the flagged media presser, Muturi and his colleagues are being accused of being part of the team that was organising the Gen Z demos, in June 25 when parliament was invaded by angry protesters who were against the Finance Bill 2024.
Equally, the development comes barely days after JB In an explosive statement linked the National Intelligence Service DG Noordin Haji to son’s abduction, saying that it took the intervention of William Ruto for the son to be released. It remains to be seen if Muturi just like his predecessors (who slam govt) will be fired/impeached.
