Deputy President William Ruto has voted in the repeat presidential poll at Kosachei Primary School near his Sugoi home in Uasin Gishu County.
Speaking to the press after casting his ballot, Ruto urged Kenyans to maintain peace and remain calm as they vote.

“It is unfortunate that some of our compatriots in sections of our country may not have the freedom to choose their leaders or to vote this morning because of the will of others who do not wish their supporters to vote…
But again it demonstrates that everybody can choose what they want and that is the essence of democracy…” Said Ruto.
Other leaders who have voted include Baringo Senator Gideon Moi who voted at Tandui polling station.
Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago voted at Limnyamoi Primary School Soy, Constituency.
Sirisia MP John Waluke voted at Yabeko Primary School
