The Universal Health Promoters are fully on the ground rolling out the Universal Health Coverage, which is a highly beneficial programme to millions of Kenyans.Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was was happy to visit Mr Robert Sinei at his home in Kiptiriri Village in Cheborgei Location Bureti Sub County to familiarise himself with the good work the promoters are doing on the ground.According to Rigathi Gachagua, Mr Sinei’s two-year-old son, Emmanuel Kipngetich, was found with high fever last Friday by a Community Health Promoter. He was quickly referred to Cheborgei Health Centre and is now recovering after being treated.This is the kind of real impact this programme is already having at the grassroots.
He captioned, We are grateful to our President, H.E William Ruto for his foresight and fully supporting this impactful programme.
Rigathi Gachagua also visited Cheborgei Health Centre to appreciate the work done by the health officers charged with providing healthcre in our villages.
At Cheborgei Centre, he assured residents of their intention to ensure the Community Health Promoters programme succeeds.
