A few hours ago, a report emerged stating that the deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua is currently being involved in a land saga. According to the report, Rigathi Gachagua is said to have acquired land illegally near the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This land is said to cost Sh1.5 billion Kenya shillings.

According to the report, land officials have confirmed that this land that Rigathi Gachagua alleges to be his was acquired illegally. This land case is still pending in the court as the real owner has not yet been identified. Rigathi Gachagua however strongly argues that this land belongs to him and his family.
