Almost three and a half years after the musician and producer’s death, the Avicii estate has announced a new documentary on his life and music.
Directed and produced by Henrik Burman and Björn Tjärnberg, the currently unnamed film will include new interviews as well as never-before-seen footage.
Set for release in 2023, the film will also feature newly produced material and includes interviews with his family, friends and colleagues.
This will be the second documentary on his life. In 2017, a documentary on his tour and his eventual burnout caused controversy and Netflix pulled it down from the network.
