A slight mention of DJ Fatxo’ s name elicits an array of mixed reactions, to some, the Mugithi singer is but a victim of public persecution but to some, he is but a mastermind of the heinous act that costed Jeff Mwathi life.

For months end, Fatxo has been on the public lens and hitherto, a number of concerned Kenyans have pledged to keep guide till the popular DJ pays for his ‘sins’ . The latter is linked to Mwathi’ s death, the late designer is alleged to have committed suicide by jumping off Fatxo’ s apartment.

Days after the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) concluded their forensic analysis of the events that eventually led to Mwathi’s death, DJ Fatxo has sparked speculations with his recent media post a move that has left many guessing now that his file is under the hands of the Director of Public Prosecution Nordin Haji.

Through his verified Facebook page, the musician celebrated his 27 birthday by thanking God for the far He has brought him. Commenting on the events that happened to him in his last year, Fatxo said he will live to remember and more notably he has learnt enough. The musician further urged fans to keep doing good to others for someday their very kind gestures will come back adding that there is a lot which don’ t see.

Fatxo’ s birthday statement has elicited an array of interpretations with part of his followers alleging that the local musician is deep down convinced that the case linking him to Mwathi’ s death does not hold water.

Through his Facebook page, controversial lawyer Wahome Thuku heaped praises on Fatxo saying the musician has stood strong amidst turbulence, he called those who were anticipating for Fatxo’ s downfall to be brace themselves for heartbreaks since the DJ had nothing to do with Jeff’ s controversial death.
