Celebrity politician Alinur Mohammed alias Somali Bae has been on the frying pan in social media platforms.
On Wednesday, the Alinur posted a picture of himself at a rally with Raila.
He appeared to be kneeling down while talking to the former Prime Minister, shaking his hand.
“Earlier today at the Kamukunji Grounds I briefly had a conversation with my party leader H.E Raila Odinga.He gave me his blessings and wisdom,” he captioned.
This saw fans criticizing Alinur for stooping low and kneeling down in front of a fellow man.
They opined that Alinur Mohammed is doing that in order to win favour from Raila Odinga in the next general elections.
But the ‘Somali Bae’ later on explained the picture, saying he did not kneel down for Raila.
“For clarification, those are cropped pictures. Those that have the full pictures will agree with me that I did not kneel down, I only had to bent towards Baba to listen to him as he oozed wisdom,” he said.
In a separate video from the rally, Alinur was seen being pushed away by body guards while trying to get close to Raila.
