Tanzanian artist, Diamond Platnumz, has finally addressed the alleged beef between him and Ali Kiba.
This he does in his new song ‘Nawaza.’ Diamond says he now feels the beef between was brought about by fighting for ‘fans’.
“Nilowaza leo nimewaza sana Mi na Kiba ugomvi kipi? Nikagundua ni ushamba na ujana wakugombana mashabiki.”
(I have thought about this so much, what is the beef between Ali Kiba and I? I have realized it was brought by my backwardness and fighting for fans as a young man)

Diamond also addresses his nemesis Mange Kimambi. Mange has always criticized Diamond and his baby mama Zari Hassan.
Diamond now says if Kimambi was the one determining his fate he would never have been known.
“Nawaza Mchana usiku jibu halifiki. Wanaonitukana tuna beef ila mradi ni kiki. Nawaza kama kina Kimambi wangekua wagawa ridhiki kama nigejulikana. Si wangenizimia sisikiki.”
(I wonder day and night and I do not get an answer. Some call me names saying I have beef yet it’s kiki. I wonder if the Kimambi’s were the ones sharing wealth whether I would be known. They would have silenced me)
