Former radio host Natalie Githinji has announced she’s looking to try her hand in modelling just a month after she announced her exit from NRG Radio.
The 27-year-old media personality and digital content creator made the revelation through her Instagram page while sharing a collage highlighting her resemblance to globally acclaimed American veteran supermodel Tyra Banks.

“Being Natalie Unapologetically. Exploring modelling. Challenging myself. Pushing the limits.
Eyeing International. Rebranding. Tag Vogue, Tag Zara katambe,” the TikToker wrote as she shared a carousel of black and white photos of herself trying out different cover girl poses.
Pulling up a post from 4 years ago in which she’d likened herself to Ms. Banks she wrote, “on this day…” along with a screengrab of Tyra’s comment on the post which read, “or I’m an American Natalie” accompanied with a winking face emoji.
Celebrating all the encouraging comments she’d received from most of her Instagram followers the 27-year-old influencer noted she’d been super fuelled and her idea to give modelling a chance reinforced. Natalie asked her close to 700k followers to flock her comment section tagging big brands in the hopes that they might notice her potential and give her a chance.
“Now ya’ll have made me think about it. let’s give it a try i mean life is all about trying… No??!! So go to my latest post whether you have already left a comment or not and tag Vogue and Zara. God might do something big.
I believe in miracles, and I believe in y’all,” the former radio presenter excitedly penned on her stories.
On 8th October the media personality and comedian announced her exit from NRG Radio after working at the station for 5 years.
“My time here as a content creator and breakfast and Am Show presenter has been one of personal and professional growth, filled with unforgettable experiences,” she wrote in part adding she was grateful for the support she was accorded while at the station.
“I am deeply grateful for the support of the talented team I have had the pleasure of working alongside, and I take immense pride in what we’ve achieved together. My departure marks the close of a significant chapter for me and the company, but I am excited about the new paths that lie ahead… As God guides my next steps. The future is bright, and I can’t wait to embrace it… Regards,” she signed off her statement.
