Geoffrey Mwathi, 23, is said to have died, and his family wants answers. A fall from the 10th story of the Redwood Flats on USIU Road is suspected of killing Mwathi.

Mwathi told his mother that DJ Fatxo, whose true name was Lawrence Njuguna, had hired him to redecorate a store and an office before his untimely death.

Mwathi’s mother, Hannah Wacuka, characterized her son as peaceful, pleasant, and obedient in her quest for justice following his death.

Hannah claims they had constantly contacted her son until he suddenly lost his phone.

“We used to have many in-depth conversations. We were close enough that he wouldn’t keep anything from me,” Hannah said.

His father, Peter Kirumba, has stated his desire for retribution on behalf of his son, Mwathi. By implying that his son was leaving the country to pursue further education, he said that he saw a bright future for his child.

“My son had not attempted to die by suicide in 2019 as alleged. They are lying,” Peter Kirumbi, Mwathi’s father said.

Peter wonders why the DCI agents in Kasarani haven’t made any arrests, despite knowing who their son was with on that terrible night.

The family has requested that DCI agents expedite their inquiries.
