Demi Lovato is putting mental health front and center on her next tour.
The singer — who has talked in the past about being bipolar — announced she is going to offer fans free group therapy and wellness sessions before her shows.

The 25-year-old beauty revealed on GMA she is taking a treatment programme on her upcoming tour. ‘It’s basically like a therapy session before the concerts and we have speakers from all over and we are also helping out with different charities from around the country,’ she said.
‘So it will be an incredible, very moving and inspiring experience.’
The programme is from CAST Centres, the LA-based treatment centre which Lovato co-owns.

‘I think that it’s important that I use my voice for more than just singing and I just know how important it is to use my platform to help others and to share my story in hopes it inspires people to either get into recovery or better themselves,’ she told GMA. ‘Whatever it is, I just want people to know they’re not alone and I’m here for them.’
On the show she talked to anchor Robin Roberts about how meaningful she finds mental health campaigning.

Demi shared: ‘I think it’s really important to take away the stigma of mental illness.
‘I actually have bipolar disorder, and I’m very open about that, because I think that mental health affects so many people and we need to take the stigma away from it.’
The songstress, who has also suffered from bulimia and drug addiction, described CAST Centers as ‘a treatment center and wellness program that I actually co-own with my business partner, but really, really good friend Mike Bayer.’
