Swift Media Ke News has reported that youthful protesters in Kisii town have already stormed the streets as the planned anti-government protests dubbed occupy CBD kicks off.

In a video shared by the media outlet, the Gen Zs who were still few in number were heard chanting anti-president William Ruto songs as they marched inside the Central Business District (CBD)

A number of businesses were still operating as shop owners opened their shops, even as the protesters vowed to take over the streets, transport was also uninterrupted at that moment.

The Gen Zs announced that today, Tuesday the 2nd of July they would occupy all the CBD across all towns in Kenya, as they try to push President William Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza administration to heed to their demands.

Protests have not been seen in Nairobi, a town that is considered the epicenter of the protests. The police have barricaded a number of roads ahead of the anticipated anti-government protests.
