Kenyan comedian and content creator David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, has been plunged into deep mourning following the passing of his beloved stepmother.

She died on Sunday, October 13, 2024, while undergoing surgery at a hospital in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County.

Having lost his biological mother at a young age, Mulamwah expressed his profound grief in an emotional tribute, crediting his stepmother for raising him as her own.

“R.I.P Mum 💔. She always raised me as her own. We lost her on the operating table following a short illness,” the comedian shared.

Mulamwah, a father of three, announced that his stepmother’s burial will take place on October 19, 2024, at their family home in Kitale, near Bikeke Health Centre.

He requested prayers from his followers during this difficult time, as he prepares to bid farewell to the woman who played a pivotal role in his life.

Mulamwah’s wife, Ruth K, also expressed her support, offering comforting words to her grieving husband. “May her soul rest peacefully. We are together in this, babe. Continue being strong as you have always been,” she wrote.

The tragic news has prompted an outpouring of support from fellow celebrities, fans, and friends.

Notable figures like DJ Shiti, Stevo Simple Boy, and musician Daddy Owen extended their heartfelt condolences, offering prayers and words of comfort to the grieving comedian during this challenging time.
