The Directorate of Criminal Investigation, along with investigators from the Kenyan military, are actively pursuing individuals accused of stealing valuable items from the Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces and his team following a tragic helicopter accident.

The latest report indicates that rescuers, including locals who were first on the scene, allegedly took away items worth millions of shillings that belonged to the nine officials.

Some of the stolen items reportedly include expensive watches, mobile phones belonging to the Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces and his team, an undisclosed sum of money, as well as boots and other belongings.

Officials from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation are currently pursuing the thieves, who are believed to be at large and in possession of the stolen items.
