Jubilee Party Vice Chairman David Murathe has today claimed that former President Uhuru Kenyatta realized too late that his former Deputy President William Ruto influenced the outcome of Jubilee Party nominations in 2017 with an eye on 2022 presidential.
Speaking as reported by the Daily Nation Newspaper on Thursday, David Murathe claims that when Uhuru Kenyatta realized fhF William Ruto had engineered the ousting of former Mt Kenya political bigwigs such as William Kabogo, Jamleck Kamau, John Mututho among others from Jubilee Party he (Uhuru) find it difficult to trust William Ruto with power.
The development comes amid the backdrop of claims,reports and counter claims that Pres William Ruto is training a breed of new allies from Mt Kenya region who will carry out his mission of bringing the Mt Kenya votes come 2027. It also emerging that just like in 2017, Ruto could be looking for new politico elites who won’t be able to question him when things aren’t good.
