In his 34 years on earth, Willis Raburu has gone through a lot. In that time, he has had a successful career, got married to a wonderful woman, lost a baby to a stillbirth, and sadly afterward gotten a divorce in short order.
The great thing is that he quickly rebounded and was been blessed with a son in his new relationship a few months ago.
So when the man speaks about relationships, you better listen as his experience tells it all. Yesterday Willis shared a few thoughts on his social media where he shared his thoughts on a quote he had posted on his stories.
The quote itself read, “Remember this when seeking relationships. You’re looking for an equal, not a project. You’re looking for someone who takes care of themselves AND has the capacity to take care of you too. Someone on your level that you can respect & vice versa. Don’t fall in love with potential.”
Willis himself offered his thoughts on the quote saying that social media had given people the ability to misrepresent themselves to the public in a way that didn’t show their true self.
He added that Kenyans should be careful about who they chose to date, stressing that they should look for their equal in terms of education, income and at the very least, in terms of value.
