If you live in Nairobi, one of the things that you often have to worry about daily is the fear of being attacked by thieves. This is because thieves in Nairobi can corner you anywhere and force you to give them your valuables.
Last Wednesday, a lady is said to have been left terrified after having an encounter with a panga-wielding Nairobi thief. In the incident that was captured on a CCTV camera, the lady was accosted by the thief while she was at her gate.
During the encounter, the thief is said to have opted to slap the lady to teach her a lesson. This is after he discovered that the lady only had Ksh 200 in her Mpesa.
Despite the slap, the thief did not do anything more to the lady apart from stealing her valuables.
When accosted by a thief wielding a crude weapon, it is often advisable to try and cooperate with them since some of them are impulsive and will readily kill you just to steal your phone.
