In the video, the traders displayed a cake even though the embattled Jubilee party boss was not present during the Celebrations.

Apart from the decorated cake, the traders also enjoyed soft dilutable drinks with almost all the invited few wearing red-themed aprons and scarfs. The aprons and scarfs were all bearing Jubilee party colours with the party’s motto, ‘Tuko Mbele pamoja.’

The market was also decorated with different coloured balloons and posters hung on the walls with each poster sending Jubilee party messages. Some of the posters were having Uhuru’s picture with writings wishing him happy birthday and Jubilee party logo on the side.

The traders were also carrying boxes believed to be containing presents that they were willing to give the former Head of State who successfully handed over to President William Ruto having finished his Presidential term limits.

From the video, the happy traders broke into song and dance in a celebratory mood as they celebrated Uhuru’s birthday. Uhuru was born on October 26, 1961, he turns 62 today.

The Kiambu traders join millions of Kenyans and leaders who have wished the former Head of State happy birthday.

In a message posted on his X handle, Kakamega County Senator Dr Boni Khalwale remembered hosting Uhuru Kenyatta who was the then Finance Minister and William Ruto at his Malinya Home in 2011.

Speaking to the press on Wednesday, October 25, embattled Jubilee party Secretarty General (SG) Jeremiah Kioni refuted claims that the party was planning to throw a big bash to celebrate Uhuru’s birthday.

However, the former Ndaragwa Member of Parliament (MP) said that Kenyans are free to hold the celebrations to remember all his achievements.
